Donté Taylor is obsessed with music, from hip hop to indie rock, and is equally obsessed with keeping his 7,000 (and counting) tracks organized on his computer. He loves tinkering with computers, playing video games, and exploring new places. He also has a very strong sense of community instilled in him by his family. “I think it is one thing to donate money to a cause that pledges to feed the homeless in Baltimore,” Donté said, “but actually spending Thanksgiving in a soup kitchen and serving the people who wander in feels so much better. In my role, I will be able to go deep behind the scenes of volunteerism while still performing the direct service that I love.” Donté is the Volunteer Maryland Coordinator with V-LINC in Baltimore, MD where he will work on recruiting volunteers to work on projects that help people remain independent.
