In Jordan Silverman’s own words she is very social, enjoys baking, loves being outside, is interested in learning about homesteading, loves animals, is an avid supporter of all things Michigan, is learning the mandolin, and hates spilling things or being in the presence of spilled things. She loves to travel and live in new places and her family and friends are the most important things in the world to her. So, with all of that going on, what was Jordan’s interest in the Volunteer Maryland Coordinator position? “One of the main reasons I wanted to take on this position was because of my service site placement,” said Jordan. “I can’t think of a better match than working for Planned Parenthood Maryland, and it was my enthusiasm for getting involved with this organization that made my decision really easy.” Jordan will recruit volunteers for educational outreach, health center support, classes for middle and high school students, and administrative support.
