Rhonda Nelson has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Administration and Health Care Administration. With over 16 years experience working in nonprofits, she has had the opportunity to work with in diverse professional environments, each focused on improving life outcomes. Rhonda brings her years of experience to her new role as the Volunteer Maryland Coordinator with Volunteers of America Chesapeake. “As a humanitarian, I am passionate about serving others, and this new opportunity is in alignment with my personal and professional career. I love working with volunteers because of their desire to be impactful and effect change while they assist those in need of support,” Rhonda said concerning her motivation to take on this role. Rhonda is in the process of returning to school to earn her PhD or Juris Doctorate and hopes her Volunteer Maryland Coordinator role will return her to her past endeavors in managing people.
