Pam Hugi is the Volunteer Maryland Coordinator at the Baltimore Bar Foundation, where she will be serving with the Senior Legal Services program this year. While studying at Johns Hopkins University, Pam “fell in love with Baltimore,” and was inspired to stay local by engaging in a year of service.
Pam majored in Sociology with a double minor in Russian and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She also performed improv comedy, competing in the National College Improv Tournament three times. Pam currently performs as part of a two-woman improv troupe called OLGA and lives with a cat named Zucchini.
Through Volunteer Maryland Pam hopes to familiarize herself with both the nonprofit and legal fields, both areas of interest for her professional career. Pam also looks forward to learning more about “housing rights and the issues that face low-income seniors in Baltimore.”
